The figurine of Christ is first sculptured from a solid piece of teakwood, a highly sought-after hardwood found in South East Asia and a mould is then created from this scrulpture. This process usually takes up to 6 weeks. 

Resin is then poured into this mould to create a production copy of the scrulpture. The clarity of the details of the statue depends very much on the scrulptor. After cleaning and touching up, colours are applied to this resin statue.
